There are many true churches built on the Torah, the Bible, the Dhammapada, the Bhagavad Gita, the Vedanta, the Quran, the Bayan, the Kitab-i-Iqan....
Read and look around for your own enlightenment.

nickie73	Posted Aug 5th, 2009 at 10:03PM i studied with Jehovah's witnesses and I've never heard the Bible properly explained to me in a way that actually made sense, never mind all that hellfire and eternal damnation and god the father god the son AND god the holy spirit nonsense!! honestly i know it's the last place you'd think of but you wouldn't rubbish a restaurant without at least trying the food would you? make an informed decision! good luck x x Rated: +2Vote for this!
allofus	Posted Aug 5th, 2009 at 10:03PM A church is a gathering of individuals who's purpose and goal is to worship thier god, whomever that god maybe. Now is there one true God? Everyone believes they have the correct answer to that, including myself who believes the God of the bible is the one true and only God. Rated: +2Vote for this!
Emptysoul30	Posted Aug 5th, 2009 at 2:13AM Define a "true" church. There can only be one true fact, but many true churches. Churches, assuming we're talking religion here, are places of worship and belief, and belief, no matter how untrue it may be, is still the truth of that church. Every Church, Mosque, Synagogue, and all other religious establishments are true, regardless of fact. Rated: +1Vote for this!
redflame	Posted Aug 5th, 2009 at 3:35AM dont quite understand what you mean by a "true" church. The church i belong to is the very first church in years that ive been too that accepts you as you are. No matter your race, nor the clothes you wear nor the car you arrive in. Its the first time in my life where ive felt the presence of God and feel an underlying warmth inside when we praise him. I believe my church is a true church that is soley in existance to house the people who want to worship HIM. Rated: +1Vote for this!
nomedeplume	Posted Aug 5th, 2009 at 4:50AM A church exists in all religions. And it is not a building, it is within ourselves, there is no need to attend a church or be with others of that religion. Too many people invest faith in buildings and little men and women who wear robes. The church is what is in our hearts and spirits, and it is what we ourselves are, no matter what we practice. rusted	Posted Aug 5th, 2009 at 5:59AM I was raised to believe there was. I've grown out of that phase. The only true church is the one that a person believes and has meaning for them. I think there as many different churches as there are people. Rated: +1Vote for this!
