Is there a way to freeze already cooked pasta?

yes I used to do it all the time. Just make sure you freeze it with the sauce in a dish you can bake it in and then bake it immediately instead of unfreezing it.

there must be because there are loads of ready meals that have pasta...i would imagine you would not cook it fully before freezing it..once its fully cooked and you reheat it it will be a mess!.

Make sure you are not over-cooking it. Over cooked pasta turns to starch.

Duana is on the money on this one... once upon a time I was a Sous Chef and the Chef un Prima always told us you can only freeze 'macaroni' (all pasta is 'macaroni' to someone with lots of vowels in their name..lol) once it is in sauce otherwise it's ruined.
