I started to gain weight on purpose four years ago. I wasn't underweight and had no medically accepted reason to gain weight, but I had my own reasons. I didn't feel comfortable in my own skin, and I thought that changing my body type was worth a try, so that I could be happier. In some messed up way, I have become happier...It's really weird. I stopped gaining weight after a while and have kept a consistent body weight for a while now...which is right where I need to be I believe.
