Is there anyone else out there...?

i wish my dad would act like a human and not an angrey monstrer. i miss him being a father, i am not sure if he ever was.
anyone else feel like this?

Hm, my dad blew up at me for no reason last week, and he just started swearing at me and saying a lot of things that I don't think he means.

My advice: pretend he's going through menopause and try to forgive him. Actually, there is a man version of menopause. But he might never say sorry or be a "dad" to you again (i don't think mine will; he seems to be done with that stage), so don't wait around. Just try to be better to your kids when you have them, that's the only justice. Pray you don't pick up any habits from him.

ShadowofDoubt	Posted Nov 4th, 2009 at 4:39PM i never got the chance to miss my father nor know what his personality is like. what i would suggest is for you two to do something that you both enjoy or something that he enjoys and spend some one-on-one time together, there may be things going on that you do not know about. Waiwera	Posted Nov 4th, 2009 at 7:34AM When I was your age, I had the same problem with my father - he regarded himself as the "Moderator" in our family, and I used to say that school holidays were always spoilt for me because he was around (we were farmers). However, it got better as we both aged; and it will probably pass for you as well. Rated: +1Vote for this!
