Yeah, I can't relate to that particularly but you can still talk to us. (I had a friend in high school whose mom had paranoid schizophrenia).

Then its how your relationship is with him and how your mum features. I assume because you have the strength of mind to share such a personal prob that mum is a good influence. I can only say sorry again but its kind of down to you to say what is the major or real problem concerning dad. What is it you want to really know ? the truth or the words to placate, make it positive,? How bad is he?
