Nothing beats melatonin in my opinion. It doesn't make you sleepy so much as it helps you to fall asleep. The best part is that it increase REM sleep and makes for a better nights rest. It's cheap an available at most drug stores or Walmart. Melatonin is a naturally occurring hormone in your body that is involved in regulating your internal clock.
"All natural" does not equal safe!
CALM is a magnesium supplement that dissolves in warm water, is fizzy like Alka-seltzer, there's natural flavors if you don't like plain. One teaspoon (up to one tablespoon), half cup of water, yum, lay down, sleep well, no grogginess. NaturalCalm.net
Valerian capsules or extract; melatonin (nightly to work well); yoga, meditation.
Melatonin helps, as overman said and so do indica dominant strains of cannabis.

The first thing that you can do is to supplement your diet with several different things in order to bring it back into balance. A lack of balance in your body is often a problem that causes a lot of different issues in us as individuals ;)
Another thing that you can do is to eat properly throughout the day. Make sure that you are a feeding your body the right foods and doing so throughout the day in five or six small meals. You should also make sure that you are having a high carbohydrate snack before you go to sleep as this will release serotonin into your bloodstream, the natural sleep chemical ;)
Finally, very few people get enough water to drink on a daily basis. Almost every cell in our body is totally made up of water so in order for us to be healthy and sleep properly, we need to give our body the water that it needs. Drink half of your body weight every day in ounces of water and take a little bit of sea salt. Being hydrated in this way will give your body the opportunity to get the rest that it needs at night ;)
I'll echo the melatonin recommendation but don't take too much at once or you'll be a zombie the next day!
Try a small glass of wine. Try not to do anything for very long. Then you will train yourself that you have to have something to fall asleep. Take whatever long enough to get yourself into a sleep pattern. then try falling asleep without it.
Qaz is the master! She knows all the natural remedies.
I follow her advice! It works.
run around your bedroom at your fastest speed for no less that 50 laps.
That should tucker you out enough to sleep
sex works for me
Chloraform. Works every time. Oh, wait, you meant for yourself, right?
I don't sleep for days... Eventually I'll get so exhausted, I'll pass out. No more natural way than that.
Chamomile tea, it helps me a lot.
Valerian, chamomile tea, a hops and lavender pillow, natural yoghurt with cucumber works wonders, though im not sure why (my doc recommended this). Also, lettuce! Believe it or not, it does work. It releases opiate-like chemicals in the brain which actually make you sleepy. A warm milky drink helps and try not to drink either tea or coffee any later than noon, as caffeine stays in your system for well over twelve hours (again, told this by my doc).
I tried them all with some success, but im a hopeless insomniac, so my cure is medication, combined with really good quality weed - it's all-natural, perfectly safe to eat (though easy to take too much and you will see the devil if you do, lol), the only thing it does any harm to is your cash-flow (and perhaps your motivation, lol, hence bedtime only).
Failing that, a good seeing to usually helps me nod off, hahaha!
Good luck, whatever you decide to do.
weed. if you dont want to mess your lungs up you could always eat it. works wonders for sleep!
There is. And I can touch it and see it, I just can't have it.
