My best friend since birth, We were born on the same day at the same hospital. Our moms became friends, so eventaully we did too. Rashelle and I had hard lives, parents in and out of addiction and parents who started trouble. are parents took there own horrible ways out on us, and wouldnt let us see each other after out 12th birthday. I saw her the last time one our 16th birthday. I was walking down the street in one direction, she was walking the opposite but on the same side of the street. I said Happy Birthday, and She said it back. I wish I would of told her I love you too.

Rashelle killed herself in 2001 right after our 17th birthday. Both her parents had to come out of jail just to go to her funeral. I always wondered if our parents let us be friends... would she still be here today.

Many nights she and i spent in a closet together crying cause of what our parents put us through.

I keep going in life, because one of us has to be strong. I tired to kill myself in 2004. Mission Failed, and I'm thankful.

I feel If i make it, she'll be proud. We were two people, with one shattered soul.

My grandpop, I talked to him 1 week before he died, but of course I didn't know he was going to die. I've talked to him in my dreams on numerous occasions.

My dad, my hero, I miss him very much. The hospice lady ruined the last few minutes with him that I had. Made a big farce about the whole thing, I felt like I was in a comedy show. She didn't want me rubbing his arm or talking to him.
Then she started saying fly away, fly away, go to the light. Made me think of poltergeist in the last moments of my dads life. She should of had the respect just to be quiet and let me have those last moment without her rantings.

My mom... she was in a lot of pain her last couple days and they had her on pain meds. so she wasn't really "there".
There were things I wanted to say but couldn't.
I miss her a lot.
The whole situation wasn't fair to her or anybody.

My uncle... he went before his time, I always thought there would be more time to spend with him. He was only retired for about a year, aneurysm in the brain killed him instantly while he was washing his sailboat that he had just bought.

Gave me pause to think about staying more in touch with family that's for sure. You never know when the last time you see someone might be.
