Is there still any chance to get back together?

He was my best friend and we dated for 4 years. He truely was the one who saw me grow as a person. I love him more than I can say. The day before he broke up with me, everything was okay. He told me he loved me when he broke up. We had been arguing a bit more. Talking about marriage was stressing him out. He worries A LOT because of his OCD and I tried to understand I did not make it as easy as I should have. It has been 2 months with no contact. At first I tried calling him and texting him but with no results. He sent me 3 packages by post with total 8 books and a note saying Hey Sweety I wanted you to have these books. Lots of Love XOXO. I wrote a thank you note but nothing. I cannot imagine my life without him. I wonder if this has got something to do with his OCD pills. He still said I love you when he broke up. I just want him back!!! Is there any chance? What should I do?

there is always a chance, but prudence says its time to move on. what books did he send you? have you read them? perhaps he was trying to send a message in a subtle way.

Ex's are usually ex's for a reason...a good reason. Time to move on.

Some of the books he sent books, we were going to read together. We used to read books together. And one of the books is a book that he used to say changed his life and he always wanted me to read it. And 2 more books were Tintin books and he had once had a dream that we were in London and buying those books so he had gone and bought them for real.

I've no idea why, but it seems he has cut ties with you. those books were shared memories. It's going to be painful, especially if you don't know why (don't expect him to tell you). You are going to have to move on and grow without him. I'm sure you'll find someone new and even better

i think you should talk him face to face and find out why he don't text you back.

if this is your first love, move on, there is more fish in the sea (some better and bigger) and this will probably happen quite a few more times in your life time maybe 20 or more times for me.
