Is this normal?

Today a person that I know is going to come. But I know this person does not want to come/does not feel like coming. Because he did not come for over a year, and now there is a 'reason' for it. Really.. he only comes for that. He needs something,.. and it is a lot. A lot of work for me. All the wile pretending it is based on the same friendship we used to have. But he is no where near me in other periods. Which makes me feel very sad.

Now I do not feel like letting him come. I feel like telling him to let me do the work alone. I feel like not letting him come and spare me the humiliation of the pretending that he enjoys it.
Because it really does feel humiliating, especially because I care about this person.. we where good friends until he got his girlfriend. And it is always like that. And not only he does forget his female friends, also the male ones. So it is not that.

You shouldn't withhold your true feelings and go along with anything that makes you feel this way. I think you should tell this person how you feel in an honest and open way. If he's a fool he'll react negatively and then you'll know for sure that you're better off not having him around...

If you have to ask - no!
That said, what isn't normal is allowing him to take advantage of you.
Unless you truly feel comfortable, tell him to take a hike.

Yes its completely normal! It's understandable, it's an awful to feel that your being used and quite hurtful. You should feel empowered considering he needs you and his plan simply wouldn't work without you.

Nothing is normal or not normal. We're floating around on a big rock in the middle of an infinite, black nothing. Who gives a ****?
