ok so that where the tokens come from. I've noticed that they appear every so often. I've only sent free gifts so far but I knew you could also buy them with tokens.

The points are an ancient throwback to the beginning of the site,, when you used to be able to send gifts and cards to people and pay for them in points. I don't know why the stupid things exist now.
