    Check the warranty policy and list of service centers in your country... Toshiba is good but they don't have service centers in every country...

    toshibas seem to work better for me. i use a satellite now and i've had one other. was very happy with both.

    honestly i've had good ones and bad ones. avoid the amd chipsets.

    sorry AMD, advanced micro devices. ones with AMD processors tend to overhead
