For some guys yes. And for various reasons both legitimate and stupid, some of which include:
    1) They are first-timers and want some one to share the experience with them, which is reasonable
    2) They are religious - also reasonable
    3) They are insecure about their skills in sexual intercourse and want a virgin so they cannot compare them to other men - stupid really.
    4) They taking virginities because it makes them feel more powerful - frivolous
    5) It's a sign of "not being a cheater/*****, more loyal" - illogical.

Apart from the above and some other reasons not popular enough to include that's usually all there is. Many guys don't mind I'd imagine; but then I've only been with one male....

Yes, they want to rid themselves of their own as quickly as possible and they want to believe that the girl hanging upside down out of that tree was a virgin until he got to her.

Sometimes. I know that when I first met my wife, I could care less if she was a virgin or not. Now (10 years later) I feel like someone took something that belonged to me, and I kind of resent her a little bit for not being one.
I have never been with one, but I imagine it's a very special experience to be someones first.

It's clearly important to you that you have to ask.
    Are you not a man?
I dont understand then why a lesbian cares when men think?

Like how virginal are we talking here? a bit of messing about is fine with penetration but once seed is spilled you're not a virgin.

Obviously when it's a sex crime it's not sex or loss of virginity and it does cancel out any obligation on the ladies part to be 'pure' Virginity isn't important to me. Honestly I don't expect any woman I sleep with to be a virgin, and if she was It does not compute.

'please be gentle' fcks sake love I could park a double decker between those flaps who you kidding?

It is important that she is NOT virgin! Innocence is cute when you are a teenager but at my age what I want is a girl that knows what she is doing.

Men just like to be chosen. If a woman chooses another man they can take that personally if they don't consider it's best to be the final answer rather than the first answer.

Not at all.. that is, I've never spoken to a man who said it was and was older than 15... it's only pedophiles and teenage boys who think it's important (in the west anyway, other cultures put a different value on it).
