Is Your Physician Loosing His/Her Touch...?

Most people have their favorite physicians...but do you ever wonder if your Doctor is just "winging it"?...as if he/she doesn't know how to fix your ailment so a few remedies are prescribed anyway...please explain...((I've had Doctors loose my files, misspell my entire name, give me someone else's prescription, I have lots of horror stories about that))

My doctor went nuts and thumpd a guy off the wall, got transferd to another county up north, last I heard he had went nuts again and lost his medical license, after which he killed him self. He dabbled in psychiatry on the side and used to love to talk about how crazy certain people in our town were.

Bagelbabe	Posted Oct 21st, 2009 at 8:41PM I just recently had to walk away from our family physician of over 4 years because the guy is a dolt when it comes to his patients and their needs. I found another doctor closer and went to her. Well it seems 4 months prior to this new doctor that 'everything was fine' with me. Pfft.. got physicals done and well it's not true. Not to mention when I needed help with some things, he prescribed anti-depressants. WTF? Aaand when I'd take my kids in, he only listened to them. Sorry but if I'm the one taking care of them while they're all out of sorts and have been sick, I'd be the one to know ALL of their symptoms. Hello? Parent here? What doctor doesn't listen to parents who bring them to the office because they're sick? That's the straw for me. Rated: +2Vote for this!
skipperbill	Posted Oct 21st, 2009 at 8:41PM I recently switched doctors because of lost files and untimely appointments. He was just had too many patients. On the other hand, some times it is better to try "this" and if that doesn't work then we will try "the other" than it is to spend a lot of time and money on expensive test, that may or may not tell him what the problem is.
