Isn't Your Family Supposed to Love You?

maybe time he learned he has to look after himself and his wife himself without the benefit of a daughter to kick around. next time you are over there and he says anythign bad or nasty merely pass him the vacuum or whatever you have in hand and say "okay, enough is enough. Now it's yoru turn to deal with it all. Bye." Then put on your coat and walk out the door.

Sounds mean yes but you do not deserve all the abuse and negativity. You need to get away from it and let him stew in his own juices so to speak.

well your case is very hard, havent you tried sitting with your dad and discuss that with him, whats the reason wich make him this kind of person, why wouldent he help you to continue...?besides your mom dosent she supports you and thank you for what ur doing to her and tell ur dad that his daughter is an angel??
what i advise you is to keep your good way in life coz sometimes u will never get good things from humans but god see's everything...anwyays i know how much ur suffering and i suggest that u talk with cousins or someone who have a word on ur dad, it means if ur dad listen to someone very well i suggest that u talk with him and he or she will helps with ur dad situation and f not...then actually u have 2 choices
either you leave them and stop helping....or ur continue ur way like this and praying to god that he would change....anyways i hope the best for you....and never forget that life isent stable and its like wheel turning so no matter how much you suffer there will be 1 day that will come and change everything coz nothing remains the same unless the time stops and you can stop everything and only the time will keep going on....

I sympathize with you and sincerely hope that things get better for you and your family, but you should know.. that love is only a word without meaning unless actions show themselves to be true. Love is not a requirement it is an act of will. I hope you can get some good advice here because I'm not sure what I would do in your situation either, maybe you could write your dad a letter explaining what you think about the situation and how you feel about it, give it to him yourself and then maybe discuss what you wrote and by degrees, things could get better. I really hope they get better for you because I know how it feels to be treated badly by family and it hurts, but in a few ways it has made me more compassionate towards others.
