I tend to like the night. But I've been that way since I was a baby.
I like the cool and the quiet. The idea that my home is more "private". That no stranger is going to come knocking, and the sounds of people outside aren't going to intrude. The sense that I've done with the day. Phone much less likely to ring. Not much expected of me. I can dress down, unwind, and eventually crawl into my bed with a good book.
I do get lonelier at night and long for a husband, but overall, I still love the nights.

I've felt that way b4 but it turns out that it wasn't the night time that I hated,it was the feelings that came to the surface when I was alone.Once I dealt with the feelings, night time was comfy and sweet again.

I don't like the long wineter nights. I don't suffer from Seasonal Affective Disorder ... I simply do not like the long darkness and the harsh winter weather.
