I think age is just a number , when you find the right person and they make you happy why not , if I found a person a lot older it would not bother me , the real person inside stays constant long after the youthful exterior fades

And if anyone is against it, then that's their issue that they have to come to terms with. I am 8 years younger than my boyfriend, and we met when I was 20. Contrary to what everyone said, we have been together for nine years, just as happy, just as in love; if not more for all the "growing together" that has gone between us through the years.

If your age brackets were say, 15 and 22, then that would be different because of minority issues. But since you are both mature, consenting, independent adults... you don't have to listen to anyone, especially when you feel great love for each other.
