It's Saturday Night are you home alone? Why?

It Saturday Night and I am home alone. I'm only 38 and seem to be home on the weekends all the time. No friends call me to go out. I'm feeling very old and lonely. I think I will die lonely. Do you have the same issue?

yeah im in that boat too drew.... it sucks. i was just thinking about it too. seems when the wife left... she took part of my soul with her... it's a really weird thing. =(

1LawDog	Posted Nov 8th, 2009 at 5:48AM Me too. My son's away for the weekend with his father. I'm 40, so I can relate to how you may be feeling. I have learned to call friends when I'm down, try out a new recipe, catch up on some reading, or give advice to those younger than us online. The latter one really helps me feel like I'm still connected to the world. Appreciate the seemingly little things (being alive by your own power, fed, clothed, housed, able to see, hear, etc.) and you'll be inspired if not grateful. Rated: +1Vote for this!

There are certainly times when I feel anti-social, or even like a loser, but in all honesty- I am not close with many people. I have one best friend that I hang out with occasionaly. I don't think you're old at 38, you still have a lot of life in you :) I think you should stop worrying about it & maybe find something like a hobby you like & start doing things with it on weekends.
