I've recently bought a parrot, and I'm trying to know what kind of parrot it is. It's green and has a red beak.

I tried searching online, and all I find is an alexandrine parrot. But I've noticed that the alexandrine parrot/parakeet has a bigger beak! with smaller eyes.

    It has an unusual common name. It's called a green parrot with a red beak. :D

    My greataunt is a bird breeder. To me that looks like a Lovebird. Before i even looked at the pic it was my guess. After lookign at the pic I would suggest you look at abbysinian lovebirds.
