I believe Steve Perry is better but Arnel is pretty good .

    Yes.... but Arnel is pretty good too. No Perry of course, but good.

    Yeah you have to go with Steve
    he is the original and the singer who carved out the Journey songs and
    the Journey sound.

    so he is always the real deal.
    the other guy is just a fill in after the real talent left.

    Yes.... but Arnel does need recognition. He too is good. No Perry, but still, good.

    You are right. Arnel Pernada is a very good replacement. He sounds great. But the original creator always is in my mind above the replacement. Because the original created the music from nothing and that is not easy to do. Lots of others can come along and sing others songs and copy their style but the creator and original performer is the one who put the genius into it.

    Steve basically wrote all the classics... And although Arnel has a VERY similar voice, Steve will always be the original.
