I am on week 2 of couch-to-5k, an absolute beginners running program. This week all I had to do was alternate jogging for 1.5 min and walking for 2 minutes for a total of 20 minutes. Sounds easy-ish right? Well, I have been spotting for a few days now (mild, bright red/pink color). I read that this can happen when you overtrain, but what I did is beginners stuff. Did you experience anything like this before?
No. I haven't. Maybe your body is not used to the sudden physical activity and changes in your hormones when you are exercising.
You need to get that checked out.
