Ladies! How do you get your man's attention when he is glued to a new videogame? Striptease? Sandwhich? Smash the tv?

Let the man play. If it's a long term problem, find a new man. It just sounds like he's got a new toy. I see no problem with that.

Play it with them, if possible. Then after he takes a break to go to the bathroom, save his game, hide it and pounce.

He doesn't do that, but when he's absorbed in something, a striptease usually gets his attention.

Let him play. I just let him know that my life goes on even though he is sitting on his game; I am not waiting for him to stop playing to give me his time. When he "wants time with me" he might have to compete with something that I am doing...turn about IS fair play.

IF LIVE-IN SITUATION:
Is he always this bad? You're S.O.L. Get used to it or find a new man.
If it's just with a new game: Maybe he just needs some man-time. I have beaten most of my games in 2 or 3 days- when they were brand new.
If it's just for an hour or two: Wait it out.
Otherwise, try beer and nachos.
IF NON-LIVE-IN:
He shouldn't be playing games in your holy presence if you've announced your visitation ahead of time.
If you show up unannounced, then he's entitled to play as long as he wants.
Either way, you could always try showing up with beer and nachos.Like (1)

Well my bf doesn't ignore me for video games.. But if he did, I would probably say something that would most likely quickly catch his attention. It could be anything, sexy, scary, dirty, ect. Your choice. :)

You should explain to your man that there are a lot more important things in life than video games and that if you aren't one of them, it might be time for you to look for a new man. I'm sure that will get his attention.

See, this is the problem I have with relationships. Somehow, you feel the need to compete with his source of entertainment. He feels the need to block you out while he's playing his games. And like most men, and little kids, the newness of the game hasn't worn off... he has a new toy kinda thing. But you expect/feel entitled to his time. I hate that myself.... just sayin'...
I'd be looking for my own thing to do while he did his thing, before you two no longer have a thing....
