Guys in large groups are always annoying. It usually always ends up in a competition to see who has the biggest dumb stick and no one really cares

depends on the situation - if you are somewhere fairly quiet, then yes
in a sports bar or some such place where jocularity is allowable, its fineLike (1)

I find groups of people laughing loudly highly aggravating regardless of gender.
