Laptop on lap, is it harmfull?

Just wondering what people here think. I have a laptop and use it on my lap a lot. People used to think that it was harmfull, but in this time the idea about that seems to have changed. So is it bad or not?

Is This A Good Question? (1)

If you have a wireless network card, I'd say yes.

    Else, nope.

Guys who are saying about EM radiations, they are true to certain extent but the branded laptops will never cause damage to your body thru radiations. You can see in its specifications and recommendations from FCC i.e. the class of device.

But overheating may cause skin injury in worst case. If you are wearing light cloth (Formal Pants and not jeans) or shorts, I will recommend you to keep something like towel over your lap before keeping the laptop. Never keep laptop on direct skin for long period of time.

Keeping laptop on lap will never damage your balls. It is just a myth. Science had proved it.

So, conclusion is that if your laptop doesn't pee or poo on your lap, you can keep it as long as want but you there should be some hard cloth between direct skin and laptop. As laptop is not *******, so it will not soil up the cloth

I use mine on my lap alot, too. If it overheats on you, then sure. Like, once I fell asleep with it on my lap (yeah, laugh) and I got 2nd degree burns and slept right through the burning process. I have no idea how, but it hurt for weeks.

    So yeah, maybe. I guess.

I realised that the skin on my legs was reddened all the time, from the heat. get a holder to put between you and it, that keeps a little air under it.

I don't think it's as bad the rest of the waves soaring through the air and slowing cooking our insides.

Ya who the heck decided to put the vents underneath anyways. Doesnt really make sense.

I put it on my lap once and it made the skin on my legs quite irritable. I wouldn't say it particularly good.

I don't know about your laptop, but mine has the cooling vents to the side. It would be bad for the computer if these were blocked up by clothing; but I presume the laptop manufacturers have had the brains to think of that...

ANYTHING electronic gives off harmful radiation; but the scientists can't measure the effects accurately, nor would it be commercially expedient for them to do so - if you see what I mean. The effects I'm talking about are upon the subtle bodies and human energy field - electronics / radioactivity tends to cut off the spirit and make people more materialistic as a consequence.

But I realise that that knowledge is "before its time" - most people will think its just blather...

The laptop is to your lap as the cell phone is to your brain.

It might be bad, but in such minute quantities that it doesn't really matter.
