Love and romantic relationships, good or bad or a must.

I've never been in one, so i don't know what it's like. And I'm 30, so time is kind of running out to be inexperienced like this.

It's kind of a good poison, but too much will kill you. People can become so enamored in each others emotions that it turns into kind of a collective derangement... That kind of passion is great for novels and films (Romeo & Juliet) but is dangerous because it intensely ignores any long term reality.

That's what turns me off of love. My sister relies on me so much that I'm sick of it. I wish i could just leave, but you can't leave your responsibilities.

Just do what I do, whenever they become so unrealistically serious about there lovey dovey needs... Just rip a big fart, and stare at them with as straight a face as possible. It works, (I'm not even trying to be funny)

Love is a must, but not romantic relationships. Some people aren't meant to be in romantic relationships, and that's ok. But they should still experience love from family members, etc.

With all the fighting and disagreements in my family the last thing I'd want is another person in my life, it's too much work. I already am like a 24 hour mediator for my sister and my mom.

They can be good or they can be bad. It entirely depends on the two people having the relation. It is not really a must to have relations.

good but you have to be careful with them. You cant become too attached or risk losing the person you love

I know all about that, my sister is way too dependent on me to fix her problems.

I am 45. I have been in relationships, but they have never turned out right. I am now ready to be alone. My mind is not completely closed off to having one, but I am not rushing anymore.

We can live without it, but we do want it. It's normal.

Since I never seen it ever work out with people around me, i don't really feel like i even want them, but i am curious and worried I'm missing out on something that i might like. I'm not normal.

No, I haven't been happy since I was 11. Life just gets worse and worse.
