my last question was. "If you are an artist and a writer what are you doing on here, then? Shouldn't you be famous by now?"

    Not necessarily. There are tons of artists that have no contacts for getting their art out to the mass public. Some even chose not to be in the limelight for one reason or another and degrees of "fame" (Recognition would be more to the point) are varied
