You should talk to a professional. Seeking answers over the internet to random people on a serious subject like this is irrational and you won't find the answer you need. A professional would be the best place to look. They know what to do and can help you and your family.

Stand up for her and be that constant voice in her ear that tells her how strong she is because she can put up with him. Let her know that you are there and it hurts to see her treated in such a way. She needs to understand that she is worth being loved and respected. I started standing up for my mother when I was your age, and she finally found her voice and her self-respect, but it took a few years of constantly prodding for her thoughts and her feeling that were so neglected. You have to be patient and stand your ground because once you pull his focus off of her you will become the target. The key is to lean on your mom as she leans on you. You can get through it, but you both have to support each other. She needs you to be strong for her. If he is physically abusive, that is different and you need to start calling the police and reporting a domestic situation with abuse. Also, start taking photos of her bruising to use against him. That will slow him down and give your mom the opportunity to put him away.

AS mentioned if it's happening right now or soon and she is getting hit. call 911 and get out of the house. If it is not going on righ now, check with the police, local district attorney, local Sheriff, AND most states/counties have a Victim assistance program. So..find out how it works in your state. Most would have to arrest under those conditions....but check and make sure. Then you will no for sure if it's a mandatory arrest, if he will have a no contact order when released from jail, etc.

call 911, then leave the house, before they arrive, stay safe, ask to go to foster care if he isn't removed from the house, don't tell him you called 911 let them witness for themselves the violance, they have to arrest him if they see or hear it
