It's up to you. You don't have to say what you think....thus keeping the peace.
If people can't handle your honesty....then don't say what you think.
I myself have curbed my ways, with family members.

You can be honest and not put people off. It's called tact.

Just think of it as an exercise in rewording your thoughts and voicing them.

maybe u do it untactfully..ur bluntness puts them off? it equates to ignorance of others' feelings... being blunt is considered honesty to the point of being insensitive/rude.

fuckk 'em......people ALWAYS are asking for 'you' to be honest or/and tell the truth,,,,,,,almost all of them are WOEFULLY unprepared for honesty & truth ......so it's not your fault.........good on you - be honest and truthful - - it's gonna **** a LOT of people off and frighten them - - but that's THEIR problem - - and they DO ask for it .......you're good....

I know what you mean. A lot of people are intimidated by my honesty. But a lot respect it too. If someone doesn't like you for you, their loss. =]

You can help people and still be yourself. Pretending to be something you're not won't help anybody...and it certainly won't do you any justice.

Honesty is the best policy! However, you have to use some cautions on the way you say things. Some people are overly sensitive on the tone of voice used and instead of understanding your honesty, it could be well taken he wrong way.

History will never change and we are constantly making it, history, that is.
I am honest to a "T"..and it turns people off too, but in the end, at least I have my integrity...
    it's cruel world
