I always would ignore guys I reaaaally liked if a friend told me they liked them before I could tell them. This probably cost me many opportunities to date. You have to make your own choices. Be smart about it. Don't ignore how you feel but don't take advantage of your friends.

She's going to get hurt no matter what you do, sadly. These are her feelings. I'd rather just let the boy slide (then again I'm sorta passive LOL) However, friendship is a two way street so I am hoping she will let u be happy with him.
