Because players tend to strongly exhibit desirable traits in the short term, but taper off in terms of long term relationship quality. Other men for some reason, do not exhibit these traits as strongly, even though they may posses them in inclusion to better long term relationship skills. Perhaps it is because the players do it intentionally with the goal of getting some right quick, and other men, while not opposed to that, also want to keep longer term possibilities in mind, and so choose to temper their behaviors in a way which, sadly, works against them while young women are more drawn to the distinct behaviors of the players.
