Meaning of colours in shamanism?

I would very much like to learn what the different colours have as a meaning in Shamanism. Especially peruvian shamanism.
Is there anyone that can tell me something about this?

for those who don't know - Peruvian Shamanism is a technology for exploring non-ordinary states of consciousness in order to accomplish specific purposes: healing, divination, and communication with the spirit realm. The characteristics of shamanism were defined by the religious historian Mircea Eliade: "special relations with 'spirits,' ecstatic capacities permitting of magical flight, ascent to the sky, descent to the underworld, mastery over fire, etc." Shamanism can also involve magical transformation of humans into animals, prophetic dreams, and interaction with the souls of the dead.

the specific colors mater less than what you associate with those colors - if you mentally know that in Peruvian shamanism red= healing yet deep in your heart red = pain blood and war - your magic isn't going to turn out so well. . . look deep inside yourself, and find what the colors mean to -you- each shaman does the same :)

Where are you from? Not the good ole' USA spelling colorers with a 'u'. Cool. I'd say England. As for color in Shamanism, I'd say let that go. I know that you feel strongly about this, or you wouldn't have asked the question, but shamanism is superstition like a black cat or the number thirteen. You are obviously a caring, connected to the word person, but let go of the world and connect to people. Give of yourself. Go to the soup kitchen and work, go to the school and volunteer. Go to a friend and clean her house all day--these are human things for other people. The only enlightenment in this world is to do for others as you would have them do to you. The doing to you is slim but your doing is huge. You have no idea how much you can change your life by giving it to others. Maybe that is the colours of shamanism--that you come here and see that there is no color, but the sweat of your own brow for your fellows.
