Men: does it make you uncomfortable when a woman expresses how she feels about you?

maybe not so much for you guys that are in long term relationships, but guys who have recently started dating someone or have been with the person for, lets say, 6 months or so. would it bother you if she told you how she felt about you?

Not at all. As a guy, I feel communication and understanding in a relationship is key, and telling each other how you fell about one another is key to that. That way everyone's feelings are on the table, and you know how to move forward (or not) and there are no surprises. Too often relationships become guessing games.

I wouldn't say it's uncomfortable - it's just a big responsibility to live up to being the man she feels so much for. At least just my opinion

I'd be happy to hear the truth. Saves a lot of time wondering.

Yeah, my wife told me on the phone (when I first met her) that I had a sexy voice. It freaked me out so bad, that I didn't call her for a week. Then a month later I got drunk and told her that I love her. Go figure......

It doesn't make me uncomfortable at all. What makes me uncomfortable is having to wonder and guess what they're thinking and feeling. Now that's scary!

Im not male, but I would like to say. Of course men are not going to feel unfortable that a woman is giving him the L word. Hell! we would all love to hear it. But word to the wise, is he worth saying it to?

I'm not even sure if I'm allow to comment on this; (i dont care! LOL) but I LOVE THIS QUESTIONS FOR THE MEN TO ANSWER! LOL & even though I am a female, I really do agree with some men who say that it's kind of scary when the girls drop the L word a bit too early or anything early within few weeks of dating or whatever (: kiddos to everyone who responded to the question!

Six months?? I'm a woman, but I'd never wait that long to express my true feelings for a man. Life is too short to keep it a secret- whatever it is. If he's not comfortable with knowing then it's time to move on. Sorry guys :)

No. I crave it. In fact, if I don't get it from my s/o, I'll look for it elsewhere. I think many men would agree...

Only if she jumps forward a few spaces ahead of me and then tells me how she feels (I.e. breaks it off without giving much of a try, or after just a week acts like we're lovebirds of years); that's the only time it makes me uncomfortable, because I can't reciprocate properly.

Sometimes you may deserve to feel uncomfortable. I appreciate honesty, so good, bad, ugly...whatever! Say whats on your mind.
