hhhmmm....
Maybe because some of us have been struggling for so long (providing for others) that it would be a relief (momentary respite) to not have to struggle so hard just to meet obligations of today. It might be nice to enjoy some of the things this world has to offer without having to pull out the ledger and calculator to figure out if it's fiscally possible.
Knowing that any momentary disruption in my earnings can bring the house down, along with everything else, is a heavy load. Having that lifted is essentially my happiness.
Happiness to you is not the same as it is to me or to someone else.

Money can buy you anything but love and health and genuine friendship. People look for happiness in money ,relationships,jobs and material,all things you can loose. If you want to be happy find the spiritual happiness of the things in life that bring contentment to the soul,mind and spirit.These things are priceless and a lot of them free.

Money does provide happiness.... ever trying living without food, clothing, shelter, electricity, etc? It would certainly make for a miserable life in my opinion.
