3 ton Rheem with (real) R12 in it, cold like a refrigerator here with 100 deg still showing on the shaded thermometer. Anywhere there's 220 VAC can be an oasis. Seriously, the otter lightly populated is my favorite, I like horses and that would be the far edge of suburbia.

It's about $60-80 a pound if you can find it. They can't make it anymore so they recycle it for resale as it becomes available. The AC guy said he would give me $250 off the price of a new unit because he wanted my R12.Like (1)
