Press a *hot* spoon onto the spot. The heat will destroy the protein that caused the reaction and the itching will stop.

And how do you treat the burn from the hot spoon?

Best Answer

Maybe but if there is enough to destroy one protein there's enough to destroy another, like your tissues'.

If you're feeling any relief it's because you burned yourself. Anything hot enough to 'destroy' a protein is obviously hot enough to burn your skin. Pressing with your nails to make a x works too, mostly because the pressure to make the X caused enough pain to override the itch. It's a mosquito bite, it's not like you have bed bugs. Use some cortisone and get over it.
