My 3 yr old son keeps telling me his room is evil.he has said there is an old woman by his closet?

my boyfriend has had a feeling of being watched and he has felt someone lay or sit on the bed with him. he has also seen shadows walk into my sons room.

Children are very sensitive to seeing many things that we, as adults, have been conditioned to ignore or block out. IE ..."You are just imaging things!" or (my favorite) "Theres no such thing as ghosts!" As a paranormal researcher, I have done several investigations involving children seeing or sensing things that most of us can't fathom. It is always a flag when children see 'others'. One of those "looking at one another with an eyebrow raised" moments for us. Usually there is no threat or anything to worry about, unless you are experiencing poltergeist activity. One question that comes to mind is "Why does your 3 year old say that the room is evil?" Good and Evil are a very big concept for most adults, let alone a toddler. You may want to contact a local paranormal group to investigate your home, if it is a major concern for you. If you don't want to do that, you will simply have to find a way to make peace and co-exist with your 'friend'. Either way, good luck! - Gary

Konrad	Posted May 12th, 2009 at 11:21AM Children see things in the dark that adults can't. It has something to with an over-active imagination. I used to see things in the dark all the time. Maybe he sees a woman. I think it's important that you make him feel safe in his room, if you're religious pray, sit with him in the dark, anything but send him back in there thinking he's unsafe. tampamad83	Posted May 12th, 2009 at 4:05PM Well I don't want to scare you but it may be true because my son used to just point at areas in the house and man over and over again, we had him tested for issues but nothing showed then I asked some friends and they had read that children are more open to seeing things we can't, good luck with though I would have a priest come in a bless home. Talk to him, ask him more details.Ask him WHY does he say EVIL? 3yr olds cant imagine or make up scary things like that, its not in their mental capacity yet.You should not believe that all GHOSTS and SPIRITS are bad. When I was a child,I was terrified to sleep in the dark, or with closet doors open, fearing something was in my closets.I have seen ghosts when I was a child. pixelita	Posted May 12th, 2009 at 5:26AM I think children can see things we don't, they are succeptable to the paranormal because they don't know they're not supposed to see them. Once they get old enough to realize they shouldn't see them it will stop. It happened to my son and as he got older it stopped. Rated: +3Vote for this!

Freaked me out. Especially later in his life, as growing up he hated make believe in any way. More of the scientist type like his grand father. One day, I sent her to get her shoes on, found her sitting in the closet with a goose egg, she told me "Jack threw a shoe at me"! never told her dad about it, but had the house blessed, Jack was gone. Next week...talking on the phone with her dad while she giggled in the background, 'What's she doing" i asked..."Playing with her imaginary friend Jack" he said! Rated: +1Vote for this!
Waiwera	Posted May 11th, 2009 at 10:57PM Young children of that age are still open to psychic sensing - they haven't had it shut down yet by being told its all a lot of nonsense and to stop being silly! Most likely there is a discarnate human there who either is haunting that house or has simply wandered in from the neighbourhood. If she died a traumatic death, she will probably be locked into a particular mindset which hasn't allowed her to move on. You could ask a priest to bless the house and get rid of her; but you could also do it yourself, so long as you're not scared to. Make the call (mentally or out loud) for a spirit guide to come and extricate the woman and show her the way to go to move on; and tell the woman that she is dead now in the physical, and needs to go with the guide to a better life and not trouble people on the physical plane of existance. Children are very psychic until they get enmeshed into physical life proper....then their psychic sight gradually gets dulled so they can function without the distraction... Lost souls can get attached to the physical when they don't believe there is an afterlife and believe they are still alive when they are in fact dead...(from this dimension) They just need help to cross over.... a good medium can help them do this... Artisina	Posted May 12th, 2009 at 3:57AM Listen to your child! Go into the room, tell the spirit that she is dead and needs to move on. Take a stalk of Sage, light it and walk around the room with it, asking that all negative energy leave. That should take care of it. You can do it yourself. Don't be afraid. If you know a Wiccan or Pagan, ask them to do it or how to do it. If they ask you for money to do it for you, don't do that. Get someone to do it out of the goodness of their heart or do it yourself. plutten	Posted May 12th, 2009 at 11:19AM I think tinyturtle is right- it could be a spirit or not, it could be his imagination or maybe he wants tosleep with you so he is making it up. either way you need to comfort him and make him feel better about sleeping there. doing some space clearing is never a bad thing either.
