My beloved doggie was euthanized and cremated last week. What could I do with the ashes?

I loved her like u can't imagine, but she was 15, and in pain and it was her time to go.
I got the ashes back but I don't know what nice thing can I do with it.
I do NOT want t keep that urn somewhere at home... no way (no pet cementery in this city).
I thought about pouring the ashes in the ocean, but she hated the ocean.
Any ideas?
Serious and ompassionate answers only please.

I am very sorry for you. If you don't have a copy already, google the poem "The Rainbow Bridge" ! I plan to be cremated myself. and buried with one of my dog's ashes in a regular ppl cemetary. I agree- bury or sprinkle them somewhere the dog liked. Or, you could mix them in with the soil and plant a rosebush on top.

When my dog was euthanized, I buried her ashes under a big tree in our yard--in her favorite spot. There are catalogs that sell engraved stones that you can set above the ashes with either a generic poem or your dog's name and a date on them.

I am so sorry for your loss. Our pets are so innocent and important, and it hurts so much when they are gone.

I am so sorry for your loss. I can completely sympathize with what you are going through, we had to put our beloved family member down about 6 months ago. He was almost 17 years old and he was a constant companion to our family.

The only advise that I can offer is that you shouldn't rush to a conclusion as what you should do with your friends ashes... the answer will come to you. Be patient.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss... I know how extremely hard and heartbreaking it is to lose a loving pet. I would think maybe someplace in your yard or garden and then plant a rose bush or tree or some kind of plant there that would grow and remind you of your sweetie.... or maybe at a favorite location that you would take her to? Maybe off a hilltop somewhere over looking the valley or some beautiful view?
Hugs to you..

Another awww...I cried when I had to "put down" my cat. Do you have a yard - or even a window box - you can grow flowers with the ashes in? Then when they come up it will be a beautiful reminder and maybe a form with your dog's spirit in them to cheer you up. I feel you!!!!!!
A pet's love is the ONLY unconditional love I've ever seen or had. {cries}

I agree with Fiametta, take the ashes to your pets favorite place. Where he liked to dig or play or whatever and either bury or scatter them. Maybe plant a nice plant as a memorial in that spot as well.

Why don't you make a portrait with the ashes. It would look nice and colorful and you can hang it anywhere in your house.
Did you see my logo? Her name was Tiekie and she died peacefully in her sleep last year in my bed beside me where she always slept. She was 16 years old.
