I don't. I get lonely when we talk about it but I put on I smile for her. It's just hard because she ask for my opinion, and although I tell her she should totally join, see the world, part of me wants her to stay...

Yes. You should encourage her to live out her dreams. True friendships are not broken by distance. Or time.

Chase dreams of your own. Those that are yours. If you were meant to be friends for life, you will be. My wife and I had a a friend couple who we lost contact with for 12 years-it happens- then we got together-now with grown kids, and it was like we never missed a beat. What was best about it is, our kids hit it off instantly. It was incredible.
