Support... give hope... If you don't have lived through cancer before it is hard to relate, so you can't mend or ease the painful feelings your friend is going through... But you can be there for him, support him, make him feel safe, keep up the hope, talking about fun memories, I bet you have a few...
    Good luck =)

The doctors will do the best they can. Other than that just keep him happy. Laughter is not the best medicine but it does help.

Every night before you go to sleep, imagine them surrounded by a healing ray of white or bright blue light. Imagine them healthy, energetic and thriving. Then when you see them in person, treat them as though they are healthy and healed.

The hardest part is to just be there. Offer emotional support. Be a friend. That is the biggest thing that you could do.

Too often when one is ill like that, friends tend not to be there. Just having company during the hard times will make a hugh difference for him.

Be there for him. Give him encouragement. Take him to treatments. Talk to him. Sit with him. Get him something to eat that he enjoys and can tolerate. Tell him that you believe in him and that it will be alright. Watch a funny movie with him. Watch a movie or t.v. show with him he likes. Ask him if there is anything you can do for him. Send him cards. I wish that I had done more for my wife who I lost to cancer a short time ago.
