My bf is in Lackland Texas for BMT can someone tell me how life is over there? INFO please?

Do you mean lackland Air Force Base? That's in San Antonio, tx. We are stationed at Fort Sam Houtson, the other side of the city. San Antonio is a nice place, it has the usual city problems, but lots of heritage and things to do. The Riverwalk is awesome. It is Texas so yeah it's hot. it's been over 102 this past week. But you get use to it. Anything you to know just message me.

it is hot, that is true. BMT is hard, annoying, tiring, exhausting, lonely, and believe it or not, short (at least the AF training is).
But that was 21 years ago for me! haha. I'm sure it is still the same. He will do just fine.
He will call occasionally, he may even cry, a lot of trainees do. He may wonder WTF he got himself into. Just be supportive, write him a LOT of letters, write every day. Nothing brightens his day more than getting mail. Believe me. Tell him you are proud of him.

But NEVER EVER send a postcard, it will be read by his instructor to the entire flight!

I've dated someone from Texas the only thing he complained about was It is so damn hot there!
