how long until he can wake up, because I'm trying his cell phone and its off since the past 4 hours

    Quite some time. I don't even know if they allow cell phones in recovery. 4-8 hours is not excessive. It'll be fine.

    Call the hospital, they can give you info on the surgey and how it went + how long it'll be before he wakes up.

    They don't like cell-phones in most hospitals. you should probably give him a day anyway.

    just be thankful your bf got surgery! Be patient! mine won't. so I am guessing 5 more years of okay knee health and then he won't walk anymore. goody.

    Well, it depends what time the surgery started, and how long ago he actually got out of surgery. If it was a general anesthetic or a local. And how he is feeling.
