"... Schizophrenia, Bipolar and I know he suffers from Psychosis." It is hard to find more limiting mental conditions than these. Schizophrenics are essentially incapable of having a normal life or a normal relationships. Bipolar, if not too severe and controllable with medication, may allow him to live a fairly normal life, but will place a huge burden on you. If the medications can't control his bipolar, you may find your bank account emptied regularly when he has some grandiose plan to make a million dollar or rule the world. Psychosis means he has trouble relating to reality and you. I might get flack for saying this, but all these conditions make it impossible for him to love you in a healthy, responsible, mutual way.
I have suffered from severe depression my whole life, so I don't speak entirely from the side lines. I would not marry someone that I knew suffered from major depression. I would say a prayer for them, then run from anyone with Schizophrenia, Bipolar, or Psychosis disorders.
For facts, contact the National Alliance on Mental Illness, http://www.nami.org They have fabulous free educational classes for the spouses, friends, and family of the mentally ill. A great organization of people who share your experience. My wife teaches their Family to Family class.
One last parting thought. An "urban legend" "fact" that my wife heard at one NAMI meeting was that 98% of the partners of schizophrenics say they wouldn't have married their partner if they had know.
