Resolved Question

I have a 22yr old daughter, we've always been pretty close since I had her when I was just 19, we sort of grew up together. Its been bothering me lately how rude she is in public (not new behaviour), like what you might expect from a 16yr old but worse. Nearly every time we have a meal out she'll complain to the cafe/restaurant staff about the food in a loud and not very nice way. She's rude to shopkeepers as well if things dont go her way, even swearing at them. She will swear at strangers in the drive through if they don't do what she says. Seriously, she has a BIG MOUTH. Sometimes it's so embarrassing to be with her in public. She is petite and usually gets away with it but I'm scared one day someone will 'deal' to her and her obnoxious behaviour. And I just don't enjoy going out eating or shopping with her anymore with those antics. Sometimes I get shitty comments about myself or my boyfriend as well, putting him down and telling me she 'hates' him. She is adult and lives away from home, already a few years now. She can be nice but also can be VERY obnoxious. Any suggestions?

Sounds like you need to talk to your daughter about this behavior. If she keeps going, someone will put her in her place eventually....
