Be perfectly honest about your feelings as if you hide any details, you will only be hurting yourself. <br />
You can also talk to a teacher in which you really feel comfortable. One that you know you can trust. He or she will point you in the right direction. A good counselor or therapist, perhaps once or twice a week will help you to find out why your are feeling these emotions. You will start feeling better as soon as you talk some stuff out and learn ways to solve problems or change things about how you look at your problems. Life can really suck sometimes. Yes, you should tell your parents about how you feel. Go see the doc and s/he may give you anti-depressant and may refer you to a therapist for talk therapy to help you out with whatever is bothering you.
Its hard and im not going to tell you to talk to someone cuz its not the best way what helps my is that i go outside where no one is around and start yelling i get my anger and frustration out in one breath sometimes i even cry but it does help it also helps to get your mind off of it with a friend. or something like that sorry for my english
Tell someone. Parents. Doctor. Anyone that will be able to help you. I was like you, depressed, suicidal and didn't want or know to ask for help. I was almost 40 years old before I got real help. Life is too short to spend your days depressed. And don't worry about it being your birthday. I've spent two birthdays in the mental hospital getting the help I need.
