So waking up pondering the joke of my existence and realizing it's another day of emptiness is just a skewed interpretation of reality?

commit to helping someone else at least once a day whether you feel like it or not. after you've managed to do that for two weeks running, re-assess. it's not "just" anything. get out of your own head and into the world.

What?! Oh please, get a grip. Listen to yourself. If you are not willing to listen to you, why would you expect anybody else to? You need to be your own best friend.

There's always someone there to listen.
Try therapy or medication (if you don't want to try a therapist).

I'm happy to listen if you ever want to talk or something......
