If you are getting pain, you are either overdoing the reps or the weight. You should take a few days respite and then start back using lower weights and then build back up. Pain means you are doing something wrong. Try doing the reps in front of a mirror so you maintain a good form. Posture is really important so you do not place undue strain upon the joints. Make sure you lift slowly and go back down even slower, as ******* the weights is not the way to go because it puts terrific stress through the joints.

Oh so many dont use support..sorry never had a problem.
