I don't know, but until she's able to let go of the past she's not really able to have a relationship in the present.

Firstly, how long were they together?? She's probably getting over him or trying to open up about how he hurt her during their relationship. I did this to my current boyfriend when we first got together, he listened and it helped. I have now been with him for 3 and 1/2 years. So I wouldn't worry to much about it. Show her you care. Listen. :)
