My friend just got a job. He's super happy after his first day. He loves it. Is this a good time to discuss moving out?

Socially awkward strikes again

Edit: My apartment is leased until november. He's currently living in it and not paying ANYTHING. I'm moving to NY in two weeks. I'm considering if breaking my lease and paying the remaining rent would be cheaper than just keeping the place for him and end up paying for cable and internet and electricity and water, etc etc etc.

This is why I'm asking. I'd like to eventually WEAN him off me lol

Why not wait until he at least gets his first paycheck.

Aw! Try it as good perfect time to discuss it, but din out first so if things got like tensed out people around will be the way out and stares at him will be a good idea so nothing will be like stressed out :).

That makes sense. Sadly, I'm overseas right now and we can only talk over FB :P we don't even talk on the phone or skype that much. But I see where you're coming from

Of course I can, that's why I'm asking here instead of springing it on him. Thank you for your answer :)

I would give him some time. So he can get on his feet and not feel like he is being pushed away. A week or two would probably be a good time to bring it up.
