I have gray hair, had it since my thirties, it feels very course and I joke about it feeling like I have hay for hair, seriously its that rough sometimes. Anyway, my wife buys this stuff called L'Oreal Everstrong Hydrate Conditioner. There wasn't the usual conditioner in the shower so I just put that stuff on, oh boy did that make my hair feel soft and actually felt like it could blow in the wind. I use it everytime I see it in the shower cause I like it that much. Try it, I bet you'll like it!

Throw away your blow dryer. Brush your hair out "100 strokes" daily. Enlist your S/O ...

Argan oil or deep condition with plant dyes according to your hair color
Henna for red
Cassia for blonde
Amla for brunette
Indigo for black.
They will enhance your color and the plant proteins will bind with your hair to make it thicker and stronger
