Resolved Question

My house is on fire. What should I do?

Why do people ask questions about serious medical or legal questions that strangers can't do anything about? I can't afford doctors or lawyers myself but aren't some questions only capable of being answered by visiting a professional?

Maybe you should talk to the guy that has tonnes of sand sitting around from his last flood? The fire will be out, the sand he doesn't want is gone and then the glass blowers can come clean up what they want...

See everyone is happy and feeling all warm and fuzzy

They're definitely hoping a professional will stumble on the question and answer it for free! Then you get people who just pretend to know what they're talking about, like me. So it's risky.
These people asking the serious legal questions are all gambling addicts and are playing doctor-lawyer question roulette. It's also a drinking game.

Yes. But "professionals" don't care about people either. Duh!

uuummmmm..... is that a joke, if not then gather some people that lives around and call for help and while you do that then call 911' so the fire wont get any worst while you guys fighting the fire before the fire men gets there, if the fire gets biger then i think that you guys should dig hols before the fire gets biger, if you want to try the different way then i think you should try to petect the land and the people that lives around your house so just try to burn around the house so the fire wont get threw to any ones houses.

Go to the kitchen and get the marshmellow, chocolet, and graham crackers for smores and than get the hot dogs and have a weine roast.

But seriously I think people just want conframation of the descions they are trying to make. And sometimes it is just to see what people say and think. but yes if they are really looking for good advice seek out the professionals they usally stay away from sites like this.

No, professionals are not necessarily the best people but sometimes one has no choice. Much better to seek the advice of an amateur enthusiast than someone who thinks they know it all. Too often it is their presumption that is their failing. In the event of a house fire, well here is one situation where it is best to call the fire service but even this service makes mistakes. Then, of course, there are the charlatans but how does one tell; well it is certainly not easy. Society is like living in a mine field as you are damned if you do and damned if you don't!

R some of these answers on the wrong question board?????

OK, now, your house is on fire! You must be across the street on your BF's computer and you must be blonde! SO, go out to the shed, get the BIG RED thing with the picture of a fire on the side and a flexible hose. Make sure it is at least half full; if not then go to the convenience store on the corner and fill it with 93 octane. Get as close as you can to the fire, shake the BIG RED THING and throw it at the fire.....RUN! Now call 911.

If your bed doesn't get burnt, you can always look on the brighter side of life. Think of the view of the moon and stars you'll have from now on,when your going to sleep. Priceless.

I think if the right person sees a medical or legal problem they can help you with advice true, but yes some things need to be taken to professionals. They are the only ones that can either give you a prescription(lol!) or get your tail out of trouble legally. Not just anyone can do those things, but there are alot of people still out there who can give good advice and some are on EP..we can be so lucky sometimes, lol!

I think there are alot of people on here who are just really really bored. also curious as to see what kinds of answers they'll get! Some people can be real witty so it can be a fun harmless way to pass the time. Lets make up a real nonsence question and see what answers I'll get! There are also alot of kiddies on here that really should't be on here either! I think EP should have an age restriction!

Grab your cell phone, get out then call 911. At a safe distance away from the house.
