    One could be religious without having a priest/pastor tell them how to do it as everyone makes it their own way.

    Some mothers are like that and I dont see anything wrong with it.. I can see you have self confidence which is good but just keep in your mind, you need God's blessings too...

    It makes no difference to God where you pray to Him, as long as you pray to Him and keep Him in your heart. A church is only one of a million other places you can pray and worship Him. Going to church is also a way people socialize; some people feel more comfortable praying in more solitary places. Your mom should only care that you believe in God, not how you express your love for Him.

    I'm not a church goer, I have a spiritual god of my understanding, and I have found that I just cant do this thing called life alone I need god and my friends to support and help me..
